The spectacular seafront & ocean view provides you the opportunity to watch dolphins & whales [May to September] and sea birds, to smell the sea air and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks. The apartment is situated away from life's hustle & bustle, traffic & shops. Come to relax and enjoy a seaside holiday stay.
A private access gate leads you directly onto the seafront where you can explore between the rocks or fish or take a walk or picnic. A swimming beach is approximately 200 meters down the road and is manned by lifeguards during the holiday season. The beach also has its own tidal pool to relax in. This is a well-known beach for kite and windsurfing, swimming, surfing and body-boarding. Uvongo is blessed with a picturesque lagoon that stretches back from the beach to a beautiful little waterfall.
The complex is within walking distance to an abundance of shops & restaurants in Uvongo, and within 10 kilometers from the South Coast, Shelly Beach & Hibiscus malls and the well known Waffle House.
There is a swimming pool, secure parking and a communal braai area in the complex.
The three bedroom apartment is on the second floor [stairs, no lift]. It has all the ?bits & pieces' you will need to make your stay as convenient and relaxed as possible i.e washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee machine, etc. The kitchen/lounge/dining room is open plan and opens up onto a balcony that overlooks the ocean. The main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and opens up onto the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has 2 single beds. A second bathroom has a bath and hand-held shower. The apartment boasts its own upstairs private sundeck with a kitchen, toilet, covered seating area and braai facility. Perfect place to chill and enjoy the view. Please note that the apartment is a self-catering, privately owned unit, hence no meals or resort facilities are provided.
You are ensured to walk into a clean, well looked after apartment. Cleaning of the apartment occurs before arrival. A small amount of washing up liquid will be provided. Linen is provided for all beds and guests are required to bring their own beach and bath towels. A toilet roll is provided in each bathroom. DStv Explora with a premium package is available upon request at time of booking at an additional charge per day [daily charge to be advised].
Maximum 6 people.
Minimum stay of 4 nights.
Only 2 cars and a small trailer are allowed to park in the complex. No caravans, boats and large trailers may be parked in the complex.
No Smoking is allowed inside the apartment.
Quoted rates are per night and are quoted in South African Rand (R), and are subject to change without notice. Rates include value added tax. Bookings are subject to availability and Covid-19 regulations.
Weekend [Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights], public holidays, long weekends, school holidays and December/January peak time rates are available upon request.
When requesting a quote, please advise the ages of all the guests. We also need bookings to be finalised and secured at least 4 normal working days prior to your arrival date in order to be able to make your pre-arrival arrangements.
To secure a booking you will need to pay a 60% rental deposit plus a service fee to SafariNow, and sign a vacation rental lease agreement with the Owner. The balance of the rental cost and a R1000.00 refundable breakage deposit and the DStv fee, if required during your stay, is payable to the Owner 2 weeks before arrival date.
To secure a booking made within 2 weeks of arrival you will need to immediately pay 100% of the rental cost and an administration and service fee to SafariNow, and immediately pay a R1000.00 refundable breakage deposit and the DStv fee, if required during your stay, to the Owner and sign a vacation rental lease agreement with the Owner.
Please note the cancellation terms.
The refundable breakage deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after inspection of the apartment.
Check in from 2pm; Check out by 9am.
Note: The apartment/complex is not pet friendly and we do not accommodate school & matric year-end groups.
