5 Day Kruger Experience Lodge-Tent

The Kruger National Park is the home of more than 500 bird species, 100 species of reptile and 150 mammal species, including the Big 5 (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard) and the endangered African wild dog. During our 5 Day, 4 Night Kruger Tour, you will experience all those exciting things that South African nature has to offer. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? DAY 1:

We pick you up from your hotel in Gauteng or Johannesburg Airport and travel to the subtropical Lowveld via the Highveld grasslands. At Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule section of the Kruger National Park you have time to unwind at the bar, enjoy a refreshing dip in our pool and relax in the beautiful tropical gardens before we board an open Landcruiser for a 3h sunset drive. This is your first opportunity to experience the varied fauna and flora of Africa. We enjoy watching the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. A traditional South African dinner is served in the Boma and you spend the night in one of our en suite chalets.

DAY 2:

We drive to a remote spot along the Olifants River to enjoy a 4h Bush Walk at sunrise and experience the thrill of following big animals accompanied by a ranger leading you through the bush at a pace you can handle. Adrenalin surges will come to their expense, even if your ranger is adequately armed. After returning to Tremisana Lodge for brunch we enjoy an afternoon game drive at around 15h00. Afterwards, we transfer to Marc's Treehouse Lodge, where accommodation is in tents near the Klaserie River. All tents are equipped with beds and bedding, soap and towels and electric light and fan. Dinner is served at Marc's Camp.

DAY 3:

Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided gameviewer and get the opportunity to view game without glass windows between them and you. You can listen to and smell the denizens of the African bush. During our drive we have regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi of Kruger Park boasts open plains and supports large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope, which then again attracts numerous lions and other predators. The zones we will visit have the highest concentration of lions throughout Africa.?

DAY 4:

After breakfast we visit the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, where injured and orphaned animals and birds receive medical treatment. There you get the opportunity to get close to some of the centre's residents, as, for example, lions and leopards. At around 15h00 we drive to the Tshukudu Game Lodge and enjoy another open vehicle game drive in the Big Five Tshukudu Game Reserve. Accommodation for the night is at Marc's Camp.

DAY 5:

Enjoy a walk at sunrise before breakfast is served. Afterwards, we driveup the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours including the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon. Return to Gauteng will be in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off can be arranged if requested.
