This is a lovely four bedroom, self-catering house on the White River Country Estate. The estate is a couple of kilometres outside White River, approximately forty minutes from the Kruger Park and around half an hour from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. White River Country Estate provides 24-hour manned security via a boom gate; you will be given an access card on arrival. The estate is built around an excellent 8-hole golf course and has a club house with facilities for playing tennis and squash.
The house itself has a large, double height living area with a log-burning stove, a spacious dining room and a large, fully-equipped kitchen. There is a separate pantry and scullery complete with dishwasher and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is an additional reception room currently set up as a study, with a log-burning stove. The outside area comprises a large covered patio, with couch, dining table and chairs, a wood/charcoal braai and a heated swimming pool. The pool is fitted with an Endless Pool Fastlane swim jet system, which allows swimmers to train over distance in small pools; ideal for a triathlete on holiday.
All four bedrooms have air conditioning, as does the study. The master bedroom has an XL king-size bed. All other bedrooms can be arranged with either two three-quarter beds or one large double.
There is full DStv service with Explora box. Other entertainment options include a PlayStation 4 and Apple TV. The living area has a 55" Samsung curved TV; there is also a 32" flat screen TV in the study. The house has fast 10 meg broadband and Wi-Fi throughout; connection instructions will be in the property information pack on your arrival.
The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery and glasses for up to eight guests. There is a wide range of Kitchen aid cooking and preparation appliances, and a large American fridge-freezer. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar will be available for you on arrival; requests can be taken to stock the house with other provisions if you wish; at your own cost.
The area around White River offers much to do, including the Lowveld Botanical Gardens, the Casterbridge and Bagdad shopping centres and the many malls in Nelspruit, including the Emnotweni cinema, based at the Riverside mall.
