Greyton lies nestled at the foot of the magnificent Riviersonderend Mountains in the region of the Cape Overberg. It is very centrally situated and easily accessible from Cape Town, Hermanus, Villiersdorp, and other Overberg Villages.
This region, which lies on the eastern side of the Cape, is very beautiful at any time of the year, with rolling hills and wheat fields, grand mountains and exquisite vistas. Greyton, often called the Jewel of the Overberg, is a unique village offering year-round activities and peace and tranquility suitable for a week-end stay or longer.
68 Vlei Street sleeps six people in spacious luxury (2 extra children can be accommodated on camping mattresses using guests bedding). The house is situated on the edge of the village and has uninterrupted views of the mountains. Guests have the benefit of the peace, quiet and beauty of the mountains, being right on the edge of the reserve, as well as convenient proximity to the charming village.
The house contains 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has its own bathroom and has a queen-size bed and the second room has two single beds and the third bedroom has a Queen Xtra lenghth bed. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, in a separate wing, share a bathroom. Both bathrooms include a bath, basin and shower, and all linen and towels are provided. The separate wings are separated by the living area of the house which ensures privacy.
The lounge, dining room and kitchen are open plan. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes both a gas stove and oven, and a microwave and convection oven and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry with washing machine. There is also a large fireplace in the lounge area and wood is provided. The lounge area opens onto the large covered veranda by means of concertina doors, providing lovely indoor and outdoor living. There is also an outside shower and a Weber available for guests' use.
