94onWild is situated in the charming suburb of Newlands (Waterkloof) in Pretoria.

The self-catering establishment comprises of six apartments, which all feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, lounges with DStv, and two of the apartments have a balcony or a patio. The abode also offers guests Wi-Fi Internet access, a daily cleaning service, laundry amenities on request and parking on the premises.

Pretoria has an abundance of attractions in and around the area, including the Akasia Country Club, the Dinokeng Game Reserve and the Mandela Statue at the Union Buildings and the apartments are located close to Menlyn Centre, Deloitte, SARS and BDO offices as well as Menlyn Maine.

The service received was terrible and will definitely not be staying there in the future.

The cleaning lady had an attitude that I cant believe a person who deals with people would have.

The house was only cleaned twice in our stay for the entire week. The times it was cleaned it was because we had to start complaining and calling people.

It was never communicated with us that the unit only has one key and that was the excuse we got why the house was not cleaned, because when they came to clean we were not there. How were we supposed to know that the key needs to be left if that was not communicated to us.

We were moved last minute to a place on 113 nondela drive and not the 94 on wild originally booked for. That on its own was disappointing.

I'm really not happy about the whole experience. To bring people from so far and have them stay at such a place with such service was an embarrassment to me.

Establishment's response:

Firstly we would like to apologise for the terrible reception experienced and the attitude of the housekeeper as quoted below but we would also like to clarify the following;

The guest had booked the house unit for 5 people as per the information provided on Safari now, and had Originally booked the 113 Nondela house unit situated at 113 Nondela Rd., which is the only house unit we have got as all other apartments located at 94 Wild Avenue, are single unit apartments and so we didn't move them around as suggested by the guest below. We did follow-up and made sure that the guest got the actual address of the house unit to before check-in time.
The house unit as listed Safarinow is a 2-bedroom facility which accommodates maximum 5 guests - 4 adults and despite the guest arriving with 8 guests instead of 5, we accommodated them at no extra cost and had to run around to ensure that an extra bed was provided. We waived the extra charges of R150 per extra person per night due to the check-in inconvenience and this I communicated to the guest.

We explained the situation surrounding the spare key to the flat to Mrs Khumalo and we initially wanted to replace the lock but couldn't as we had a guest check-in, with whom we were able to schedule housekeeping, we tried scheduling housekeeping with Mrs Khumalo but this met her displeasure and we apologised and arranged the housekeeping for 8am the next day and also informed her that the keys would unfailingly be sorted the next day.

We apologise for the keys and the attitude of the house keeper, we acknowledge the fact that the issue could have been properly managed and do hope that we would have an opportunity to provide Mrs Khumalo with better hospitality in the future.

Clean comfortable rooms by

Besides having to wait nearly an hour for someone to let me into the establishment, once in, I found the room was lovely and spacious, clean and comfortable.
