Vindmekaar is situated on Towerbos? an exclusive private game farm surrounded by the magnificent Waterberg Mountains in the Limpopo province. This game farm is a place of tranquility and relaxation, abundant game, bird watching, scenic mountain trails and 4x4 route. This unit is only accessible by a 4x4 vehicle.Accommodation is offered in the exclusive self-catering unit known as Vindmekaar, an Afrikaans word meaning ?to find one another'. This beautiful romantic cottage is private and nestled against the mountainside with spectacular views. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Lighting is provided by either candles or gas lamps. The self-catering, open-plan kitchen is equipped with gas-operated appliances and features a stove and fridge. There is an outdoor braai area. Hot water is available from the solar geyser as there is no electricity available.Guests to the farm will experience regular sightings of the fish eagle, black eagle, secretary bird and most of the kingfisher species. Fishing is available on a catch-and-release basis. A variety of wild fruit and other trees can be identified. 4x4 trails, quad trails, and game drive can be arranged.
