Abalone Beach Cottages are fully equipped self-catering ground floor apartments on the beach in Hout Bay.

There a two units - a 2-bedroom (2 bathroom) duplex apartment and a 2-bedroom (2 bathroom) garden apartment, both with sea and mountain views. The property is nestled on the shores of Hout Bay, in a charming and peaceful environment. They are close enough to a wide range of activities and facilities.

Hout Bay Beach is only 57 paces from your door. Relax on the beach and watch the locals as they kite surf, kayak and walk their dogs. Remember to keep a lookout for seals, dolphins and whales, all of whom are regular visitors to our bay.

The accommodation and facilities exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay enormously. The position is fantastic and exceptionally convenient with everything that one could possibly need for a good time and laid back holiday within walking distance. We would most certainly choose to stay here again.

Amazing Abalone by

Spent five tremendous days and nights at Abalone. Wished we could have stayed longer! Great location just off the beach and yet so close to shops and restaurants. Nothing was missed in the cottage - even a dishwasher made our stay so easy. Secure parking. Thank you to Terry and Corinne for arranging everything so perfect.



We enjoyed our stay at ABALONE BEACH COTTAGE. The house was neat and clean with all facilities.

We're very glad you enjoyed your stay. Apologies for the confusion. When we accept a booking we send the guest an info sheet with all relevant information, including the info that Abalone 1 is called T3 at The Village. However, I do think we should make this clearer and more obvious. Thanks for the constructive feedback; I will make the necessary changes to our info sheet.

Can say in all honesty this was the best ever self catering place we have ever stayed .
It was lovely everything was perfect for us ,clean, comfortable everything you would need was provided and the beach was a short step away , 10 out of 10 , on all counts and we will be back to stay here again for a longer period
