African Elephant's Den previously called 'A New Dawn,' is an old-school establishment where you can escape from the hustle and just relax. Enjoy your cuppa or wine in the peaceful garden with our ample birdlife and soothing water features.

The accommodation offers two Matriarch rooms, one with an en-suite spa bath, the other with en-suite shower. It is ideal for ladies, as they are both wings inside the main house. The Dwarf Elephant Rooms comprises of three twin beds, the Bull Elephant has a double bedroom with en-suite and The Herd has a two-bedroom flat with an extra bed and bathroom. Each room has a TV with an OVHD decoder, and guests are welcome to bring along their decoders. The flat has a standard premium DStv Package. All units have private entrances and a braai area is available.

Meals and Traditional Pap and Kaiings is available on request. Klerksdorp CBD is 10 kilometres away and has a well-established airfield where some of the National Air shows are held. Klerksdorp offers a Casino, the Barnyard Theatre, Game Reserves, Lion farms, museums, heritage sites, cinemas, shopping centres, restaurants, sports and golf clubs. Shuttle services are available from the guesthouse to O.R Tambo airport as well.
