The exclusive-use guesthouse boasts five bedrooms accommodating 10 guests and offers an intimate and luxurious home-from-home (check on map) experience in the Cape Winelands.
The Homestead boasts five bedrooms, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms, located over two floors. Rooms on the ground floor have four-poster king-size beds, while top-floor rooms have queen-size beds. While every care has been taken to celebrate this historic building's past, no detail was spared in creating the most comfortable and luxurious stay for our guests. Please note: The Homestead can only be booked as a single unit.
Included in your stay is a lavish breakfast, an on-site personal butler/concierge, the services of a private chef, a well-stocked personal bar, a wine tasting experience, and a 10% discount on selected Hazendal experiences. The Manor House is booked as a single exclusive use unit regardless of the number of occupants to a maximum of 10 Adults. Please note: The Manor House can only be booked as a single unit. When not occupied by guests, The Homestead is open for day visitors to discover the architecture, period furniture, and art on self-guided tours. Some of the highlights include one of the largest private historic map collections in South Africa, furniture rarities from the 18th century, and original works by acclaimed artists Vladimir Tretchikoff and Jacobus Hendrik Pierneeff. The secluded private garden offers a peaceful retreat.
