Agulhas Heights is situated at the end of the African continent, at the meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The lighthouse is today a National Monument with its own museum. Only a two-hour drive out of Cape Town, the beautiful and rugged landscape of the tip of Africa has been proclaimed a national park and is home to a diverse range of marine life as well as a breeding ground for the endangered African black oystercatcher.
