Situated in the pretty town of Ladybrand, within an hour and a half's drive of Bloemfontein, the Alpine Guest House offers a relaxing retreat with comfortable accommodation.

Offering nine double rooms with the option of single beds, the guest house provides guests with a scrumptious breakfast and an ideal base to explore this historical area.

Facilities include a swimming pool, braai facilities, a pool table, on-site parking, satellite TV and conference facilities for up to twenty delegates.

The town has many historical buildings dotted throughout, which are reminders of the Anglo-Boer War. Guests can head off on daily excursions and discover the local animal life, fossilized remains and rare San rock art that are found around the area.

Maintenance of the property is poor. Security not good. We did not feel welcome and felt uneasy due to dirty walls and doors. The house is situated next to a very busy and dusty street between town and township. If we did not pay in advance, we certainly would have gone to stay somewhere else.
