Amandla is a friendly guest house with warm hospitality. It is situated in Ermelo, in the grass and wetlands region of the Mpumalanga Province.

We offer spacious double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have private entrances onto the garden, secure parking, DStv, desks, tea and coffee-making facilities and all linen.

As you stroll through this lovely town you will notice the magnificent scattered maize, sunflower farms, cattle and wool. Coal, anthracite and turbinate mining also take place here. Ermelo features mysterious beauty where the area provides visitors the opportunity to enjoy various adrenaline pumping water sports as well as fishing, swimming and bird watching.

Thank you very much for the great hospitality. The owners were also very accommodating allowing us to check in early and making sure we were comfortable.

Amandla Guest House, directions easy to find, and a Warm Welcome from Nomalanga, Piet and his wife. Everyone is so friendly, I interacted a lot with Nomalanga during our stay. It is a very wonderful place to visit

not a great experience by

positives - clean room nicely decorated bed large enough to accommodate my tall better half
negatives - no electricity - not the owners fault - who by the way - we did not lay eyes on at all - but the way the matter was handled did not delight us. we were left in the dark with just a little LED lamp. had to brave a growling dog to find someone to talk too. oh we will try and start generator eventually but we had no hot water at all and the most unforgiveable was NO toilet paper or soap - luckily we didnt shower as we didnt fancy cold water on a coldish day

The cleanliness was excellent! The staff was not very friendly. We booked with breakfast, but was told it wasn't included!
