Affronted by having to sign, only on arrival,  a strange policy document inhibiting us from flushing used toilet paper down the toilet because of their french drain.

I've had a property with two of these drains and never had an issue with toilet paper.It made it very uncomfortable staying there. The whole of Pringle Bay has french drains and we were not confronted with such a policy elsewhere in the town!

And , the TV didn't work.  Very irritating. Will never go back.


Wonderful Stay by

Friendly owners, Quiet area, Parking in front of garage very close to the room.
What a wonderful little sea side town of Pringle Bay.
We will definitely visit again!


Decent by

  • Although you can technically "see" the sea, you would do better if you had a telescope.
  • The unit was clean and tidy.
  • The main house (which is attached to the unit)'s garden and stoep looked like a junkyard.
  • The beds and linen were of good quality, we slept well.
  • Unfortunately no braai facility, which is understandable due to the proximity of the fynbos.
  • The one plate in the cupboard was covered in fish moths and their eggs.
  • Inexpensive.
  • We enjoyed our stay.
