Just 35 seconds walk from a deserted beach; Ambleside offers guests tranquility outside of the tourist areas but close to all amenities. Set in a safe and secure surrounding with ample parking, Ambleside has three ground floor apartments. The North Wing and the South Wing are on either side of the swimming pool. The Studio is our most recent addition. It is an open plan apartment of 40 square metres and is away from the pool for privacy.The East Wing is a three story house. It is huge and also overlooks the pool.We are pet friendly but you must ask in advance and there is a charge for dogs.Music is not allowed so if you want to party, Ambleside is not for you.There are several restaurants and bars close by and the village of Umtentweni also has a post office, petrol station Kwik Spar and other shops.The South Coast offers many outdoor activities such as fishing, surfing, scuba diving, and whale watching and biking. There are many excellent golf courses nearby and the Orabi Gorge and Lake Eland game reserves are a short drive away while the Wild Coast Casino is a 45-minute drive. Our charges are based on two adults and two children during school times. Extra people and school holidays are more expensive.

Beautiful garden and pool by

Pleasant location and hosts were welcoming. Comfortable bed, pleasant facilities, beautiful garden and pool.

Lovely accommodation by

Lovely accommodation very near to the sea. Our Yorkies loved the stream and running through the safe, secure garden.

I had an excellent stay at Ambleside. The hosts were very accommodating and the hospitality was awesome.



It was beautiful and clean and right near the beach, the beach so quiet and peaceful,the owners were very accommodating and so helpful, made our stay very pleasant. it was very homely we loved it,and the pool just heavenly.
