Nestled amidst age-old trees with Tamatieberg as a backdrop, Amelee offers comfortable accommodation and old-fashioned hospitality on a small working sheep farm, 4,5km from Volksrust on the R23 towards Standerton. Guests can watch, learn about, and interact with various farm activities depending on the season such as lambing, shearing, harvesting. Go walk-about or just relax in peaceful surroundings whilst watching numerous birds go about their daily business. Adventurous guests can attempt more serious hiking, some mountain climbing or even mountain biking, provided they bring their own gear. We cater for overnight and long-term stays and offer self-catering and B&B options. Breakfast is served either as a "grab 'n go" affair for people on the run, or a leisurely traditional farm style sit down meal. Additional meals are served upon request and we also cater for small functions such as birthdays, staff meetings etc.
