AmHang is situated in Wagenpadspruit, between Magaliesburg and Rustenburg in the Northwest Province. We offer three cottages and a family house tucked away amidst large indigenous trees, offering ample opportunity to well-deserved peace and tranquility.

Enjoy the cool mountain breeze in the company of nature's own unique sounds, relax in the plunge pool, or laze around the private barbecue area. Explore the area's rich bird and wild life, home of kudu and a variety of small buck where warthog watch quietly as you walk through the grassland.

Be rewarded with spectacular views as you wander uphill, disappear in the shade of indigenous forest and enter the ravine to reach the plateau. Here you find yourself exposed to the nightly hunting fields of leopard, so be advised and walk in groups. Humbled by the beauty of unspoilt nature we abide in harmony.

Nice house with great mountain backdrop by

Comfortable and spacious house with nice braai facilities. The best part is the accessibility of the Magaliesberg for fantastic day walks along the escarpment!

Baboon Highway Trail by

Had a wonderful weekend at AmHang. Stayed in Guinea Fowl and Franklin Cottages that were clean and very comfortable. Walks are amazing, view from the top of the Magaliesberg mountain after completing The Baboon Highway Trail are spectacular. Walter and Karen very efficient and helpful hosts.

Magaliesberg magic by

A great place to stay, walk, relax, and learn about the local flora and fauna and the distinctive geology of the Magaliesberg range. Karin and Walter are warm and gracious hosts. The accommodation (for us, the Guinea Fowl rondavel) is excellent. Very highly recommended.

Karin and Walter are great hosts - friendly and caring. Well appointed and very clean accommodation. A perfect escape amid dense bush and succulent gardens.
