Auob lodge, a green Oasis in the Kalahari landscape, is situated on the banks of the dry Auob river. The small town Gochas is only 6 km away. Walking/Hiking Trails, Swimming Pool, Game Drives, Bird Watching. The red dunes of the Kalahari are in strong contrast to the white calcareous rocks of the valley formed by the Auob river. In an area of 8000 ha around the lodge, various antelope, smaller mammals and bird species can be seen. The plants in this area have adapted to the harsh conditions of the Kalahari.

The 40-bed lodge has two family units, a restaurant, a lapa, a TV room and a lounge with a fireplace for chilly winter evenings.

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at the swimming pool or discover the surrounding area on foot. A bar is at your disposal. Auob Lodge is easily accessible by road or plane. The private landing strip is suitable for various size planes.

Children welcome under parents supervision.

Surprisingly good by

On our way from Windhoek to Kgalagadi we had a two night stop at Auob Lodge. The room was really nice and clean. Breakfast and dinner as well as the game drive were very good. Auob Lodge is a big recommendation.

Sehr schöne Lodge mit sehr gutem Service. Das Essen war hervorragend. Auch der Game Drive ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Very nice lodge with very good service. The food was excellent. Also, the game drive is highly recommended.




Jammer dat we (2 personen) de enige gasten waren. Bij aankomst menukeuze maken (beperkte keuze), vroeg dineren en personeel vroeg (19.30 uur) naar huis en bar gesloten. Niet wat we verwacht hadden van logeren in een lodge.
