Friendly staff by

The rooms have been recently renovated and are immaculate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although 4 km from Vic Falls, the taxi service is good and there is a shuttle bus.

Stay at A Zambezi River Lodge was lovely. My expectations were met and the experience was memorable. Would highly recommend it.

We had the disabled room first. It was not up to standard:
Shower-head was hanging down on the tube and can not be fixed into a holder.
Shower room can not be closed by means of a shower door or curtain.
No bath tub like in all other rooms
No mirror above basin.
Toilet seat loose
no fridge in room
no cups for the tea/coffee provided
no hairdryer
no 2nd bedside table
millions of mosquitoes in room.
No outside furniture
safe not fixed to wall or furniture
Air-conditioner not working.
Management was only to help the next day to move us into another room, this room then was fine.

The breakfast is nice.
Dinner is terrible and not eatable. Total disappointment and far too expensive.
almost no alternatives for vegetarians.

Personnel friendly.
