Bakiga Lodge aims to offer responsible tourism in Bwindi, by providing the highest quality accommodation and food while bringing genuine benefit for the community in Kabale.

All profits of the lodge fund Bakiga Community Project, an NGO, as we seek to provide access to water across the district. The lodge is just a short drive from the Ruhija Gorilla trekking point, as well as being perfectly positioned for birding tours in Ruhija.

With stunning views across the valley onto Bwindi Forest, the lodge is the perfect location to relax after a long day of trekking or bird viewing, while at the same time supporting community development.
