Barberton Manor Guest House, the Gem of Barberton built in 1927 after a Sir Herbert Baker design is a National Heritage and still in it's original state, but offers modern day comfort.

The two storey, spacious house is surrounded by botanical garden of two hectares, near the road to Swaziland 40 km, 60 km from the Kruger Park and 65 km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport near Nelspruit.

Barberton, being the undiscovered gem of the Lowfeld, offers many attractions: hiking trails, scenic drives, visiting a gold mine, an Heritage Walk starting at the museum and many more.

room had no 'Luxoury bathroom ' as advertised, a shower in one corner of the bedroom and a toilet and sink through a door in another corner.  The plug didn't fit the sink .
No tea and coffee facilities which are always nice to have. 
Immediately you enter the house there is a dreadful smell of dogs which puts you off straight away and then a' or ' no smoking ' ban is in place of which the smell would be nice against that of the dogs.
However a beautiful breakfast was served ith many home made jams which was excellent.'
