Do a tour of a working diamond mine, see the Big Hole of Cullinan or arrange a round of golf at the Cullinan Golf Club, all just minutes down the road.

Barbets Nest is a must for serious birdwatchers, with over 150 species spotted in our valley. Relax and unwind by the poolside with its own well-furnished and fully equipped lapa. Go for a walk with a variety of animals or spoil yourself at Ukuthula Bush Spa.

We had a lovely stay - the chalets are beautifully decorated and have everything you need.The surrounding bush and nature was just what we needed to relax. The staff made us feel really welcome. I would recommend a stay at Barbets Nest to unwind - a perfect midweek or weekend breakway.

The pool can be heated and the water pressure can be a bit stronger.
