Berg en Rivier is a unique holiday country retreat, riverside tented camping, 4x4 Trail and event venue nestled in the majestic Trichardspoort River Valley between the un-spoilt banks of Wilge River and foothills of the Gouwsberg Mountain Range. We are situated between Cullinan and Loskop Dam, only 40km NE of Witbank and Bronkhorstspruit and one hour from Pretoria East and Benoni.
Come and share our wonderful country retreat and rustic river camping (including off road vehicle camping) facilities while exploring in our natural environment's scenic hiking routes, bird life and river activities like bass fishing and canoe / tube rides, mountain biking and 4x4 trails.
Wake up at sunrise and join us for a hot air balloon tether, while quietly sharing the view of the valley with some hot farm style coffee and rusks, followed by a glass of champagne and a hearty Berg en Rivier Breakfast.
If you have a private/ corporate event or a conference we have a big hall that we can deck out to your requirements, décor,seating and catering, or perhaps the smaller more intimate adjoining hall.
Indigenous vegetation, amazing bird population, and the call of a fish eagle! Free roaming game includes zebras, small and large buck, bush pig, jackal, leopard and other species. The river edge with its cool bush willow trees gives cover to the fascinating otter family, the river leguan and amazing number of water creatures and birds.
