Betta Camp is situated in the stunning south western outback of the Namibia Desert and is positioned on the crossing of the C27 and D826 routes.

The camp comprises of six natural stone chalets, which have either twin or double sleeping arrangements, and two of the chalets are family units. The campsites offer shaded seating area, braai facilities, power points, wash-up amenities, and hot water ablutions. Betta Camp also has a filling station, a well-stocked kiosk and a tyre repair service.

The location of Betta Camp is ideal for a stopover en-route to Sossuvlei, Aus or Lüderitz, and the Duwiseb Castle is a few kilometres away for guests to explore during their stay.

Disappointing stay by

We arrived to find no evidence of our booking. We were shown q cabin anyway and told hot water would be available at 4.30. No water was forthcoming. When we asked we received a shrug and told it wasnt working ( the geyser system or "donkey"). No apology. The power also stopped but they were able get the lights working again but thete is no lights in the middle of the night you cannot lock the cabin from the inside. We saw no sign of the owner at any stage. There was also a h9rr8bly thin sick looking f9g that pestered us.for food.

Beautifull setup in the middel of nowhere. The "open kitchen outside" is unpractical after dark ( due to the position of the only light ) and the wind blow. The outflow of kitchen zink is a mess. The lack of hot water early morning is a problem.
