Bibby's Gastehuis

The guest house is situated down a quiet lane in the fishing village of East London, in the beautiful province of the Eastern Cape. Bibby's Guest House pride themselves in their friendly and personal service.

Bibby's Guest House was started in 1999 in Butterworth and in 2007 we decided to expand and have successfully opened our upmarket guest house in Bunkers Hill, East London.

Our comfortable 14 air-conditioned suites all have their own bathrooms and lead onto the veranda. Guests can take advantage of Bibby's tours and shuttle services for their daily sightseeing and shopping excursions.

East London is the gateway to the Wild Coast and with it being the only river port in South Africa, it is one of the most appealing cities on the coast. Guests can enjoy a round of golf at the nearby golf club or enjoy a stroll to the nearby beach. The city has quite the history and ancestry where strong ties to the English and German lineage are found. A visit to the museum as well as the well-preserved examples of 19th-century architecture are a must-see for all visitors.
