Blaauwheim Guest House is an exclusive establishment located in Somerset West, run by co-owners Johan and Jo-Anne Blaauw. The guest house offers two luxurious suites, Pinotage and Chardonnay, each with a lounge, dining and kitchenette area, a spacious en-suite bedroom, a guest toilet and a veranda or balcony. Ample secure parking is also available within the premises.
The lush garden boasts indigenous yellowwood trees frequented by many birds, as well as a substantial collection of cycads. Blaauwheim is a place where strangers become friends and friends part of the family.
The guest house is situated in the heart of the famous Cape Winelands, near the long sandy beaches of the Strand and within easy reach of Hermanus, a whale watchers' paradise. Golfers are spoilt for choice with a selection of golf courses on our doorstep. Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in the country, is a mere 10 minutes away and Franschhoek will take another 15 minutes along a beautiful scenic route.
Cape Town, which is famous for Table Mountain, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the V&A Waterfront, excellent shopping centres, sports facilities, theatres and entertainment, is only 40 minutes away.
