Boa Vida 3 & 4 are two stunning four-sleeper units, separated only by an adjoining common deck, and located in the Boa Vida Estate which is situated within the Hotel Phaphalati grounds in the Ponta Malongane area of Southern Mozambique. Boa Vida Estate is only accessible with a 4x4 vehicle.

The self-catering units each sleep four guests and comprise two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and deck. Each of the units also has a portable air-conditioner. The units are positioned just 100 m from the sea and are built on a bank, affording wonderful sea views.

Guests staying at Boa Vida Estates may make use of the facilities on offer at Hotel Phaphalati which is located within the estate. These include a swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

Many scuba divers and fishermen are attracted to this southern tip of Mozambique which offers a spectacular variety of sea life, from tropical fish to whales, while the inland lakes, forests and wetlands are great playgrounds for bird-watchers, hikers and 4x4 enthusiasts.

A nice stay by

Our 'Welcome Letter' advised us to bring swimming towels. We assumed therefore that bath towels would be provided. We were told not, though some were eventually found for us. The cottage is not called William as far as the hotel is concerned and there was much confusion as to where to put us initially. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Domestics cleaned well and we enjoyed the view and location very much.

What a wonderful time I had - saw plenty of whales (view right from the balcony) and rest of the view was excellent!!!
