Bokpoort Mountain Lodge

Seven kilometres from Clarens and nestled in the Maluti Mountains, Bokpoort is a melting pot of culture and beauty. The farm is home to an abundance of plant and wildlife species which can be found as you explore the many mountains, dams, rivers and caves this sanctuary has to offer.

Subtly rising from the rugged landscape of the Malutis, Bokpoort Mountain Lodge retains all the history, charm and character of its long, proud existence. Sandstone meets glass, old wood and steel as the main guest pavilion and cottages nestle comfortably into the countryside.

The guest area features an inviting fireside boma and reservoir pool deck offering extravagant mountain views. A warm and charming bar offers an open fireplace while comfortable seating invites intimate conversation. Additional signature features include an obstacle course and a target shooting range elevated and ideally positioned to catch the mountain sunset.

Four superb self-catering superior cottages offer a sophisticated simplicity that reflects elegant mountain-inspired design. These include a main bedroom en suite with a mezzanine level making the cottages ideal for families or groups of friends. Verandahs with magnificent views offer alfresco lounging and dining in front of open fires.

Four additional queen and mountain cottages offer more intimate accommodation for couples ? set away from the main pavilion they offer more privacy and are perfect for a romantic or quiet get-away. Mountain adventures abound here for individuals, couples, families, friends and even companies. These include trail running, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, conferences and intimate weddings.
