Braeview Guesthouse is well situated only 150 metres from the famous cliff path between the Old and the New Harbour in the quiet, sunny suburb of Hermanus called Westcliff, with wide open spaces and parks. Although away from the busy centre of town Braeview is still within walking distance from restaurants and conveniently close to all shops. A short stroll down to the cliffs may surprise you with the fascinating sight of whales playing with their offspring only metres away. Blue flag beaches, tidal pools and our beautiful golf course are all only a few minutes drive from us.Braeview offers two luxury self catering units ensuring a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Family Unit:Elegantly furnished and decorated. The Unit sleeps 6 and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms with both shower and bath, lounge, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful garden and patio with barbeque facility. Off street parking on the premises is provided.Stone Cottage:Spacious, sunny and tasteful. Separated from the Family Unit the Cottage comprises one big room with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette and is fully equipped to accommodate 4 people. It has its own private patio with barbeque facility leading into the garden. Off street parking on the premises is provided.Both units have satelite TV and free WiFi

Wonderful by

We had a wonderful stay at the stone cottage. Very good location in a wonderful quiet street. The cottage itself is very private. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely, spacious house by

We stayed at Braeview guesthouse for 5 nights. The owner, Erina, was very accommodating. She converted the study into a 4th bedroom in the main house. The stand-alone cottage was also great. The location is ideal, as it is very quiet, but only a 2 min drive to the centre of town. We would stay here again.

A nice clean and spacy cottage, all and everthing was good and even the hints we´ve got from Farnie and Erina to eat out made it perfect, also the place for breakfast, great AND the hints where to see the whales...I keep it my secret, but join and ask them ;o)

Spacious cottage close to the cliff-top walk by

My wife and I, and eight-month baby, had a lovely 5-day stay at Braeview Guesthouse. We stayed in the self-catering cottage in the back-garden, which was really private and spacious, with a nice little patio where we could BBQ and the baby could splash in a paddling pool. Nicely appointed accommodation - a great base to explore the coastline and wineries. From the cottage its a lovely 2.5km walk along the gorgeous cliff-top walk to town.
