The region is known for excellent fishing in the nearby Mokolo Dam. The Mogol Golf Course is one of the best in the region. Wildlife is particularly abundant in this region and visitors are likely to see most of the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino).

Activities include bird watching from well-concealed hides, game drives in open vehicles and guided walks with professional rangers.
