Bush Retreat

Bush Retreat is made up of individual stunning self-catering lodges. The lodges are nestled within the gorgeous Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in Limpopo Province, South Africa. They are private and exclusive, each lodge comes fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a tranquil break in the bush. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate has incredible views of the Drakensberg Mountains and is only 45km from the Orpen Gate entrance to the world-famous Kruger National Park.

Each lodge comes with its own utensils and we add some luxurious finishing touches to make you feel completely at home. You don't need to bring anything but clothes, food and the people whose company you crave. There are 10 lodges, four of them can accommodate a maximum of eight people, while the rest all sleep a total of six people.

Bush Retreat has plenty for you to explore and do, no matter what the weather or time of year. From horse-riding safaris to fabulous food and stunning vistas, there is something here for everyone. All of these activities are also within a comfortable drive of Bush Retreat's lodges, including the famous Kruger National Park which is only a forty-five-minute journey through Orpen Gate to the most glorious bush in the world. While families will enjoy visiting the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, couples in search of a romance can float across the sky with Sun Catchers Hot Air Ballooning.
