Here, every visitor will experience true Northern Cape hospitality and service at its best.Our fifteen luxury semi self-catering units are situated on just smaller than a hectare of land in town. We are within walking distance from the nearest shopping centre where a supermarket, bottle store, ATMs, coffee shop and take-away business are situated. The North Cape Mall with its range of restaurants, movies and much more, is about 2km from us. Visitors can rest assured that their vehicles will be safe day and night due to the fenced area near their units.At Carters Rest Guest House you can expect modern facilities including a microwave, a toaster, air-conditioning and DStv. You are welcome to make use of our dedicated braai area or use one of the portable braai's. We also offer a shared swimming pool. The mosquito machines will ensure a peaceful nights rest. Carters Rest Guesthouse is superior rated by the AA travel/Guest House with self-catering and four star graded by the star grading council.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carters Rest Guesthouse in August 2014, and will gladly recommend this facility. The response on the booking request was immediate even though this was done over a weekend. The reception and service at the guesthouse was very organised and professional. All aspects of the facility were modern and practical, well maintained and very neat. The continental breakfast variety in the room was a real treat and very convenient. We will definitely make use of Carters Rest Guesthouse again.



Wonderful! Very friendly reception, spotless chalet and well equipped. Beautifully decorated and makes you feel welcome. Will definitely stay again on a visit to Kimberley.

Carter's was fantastic. After a 900km drive we were warmly greeted and walked to our room. The room was beautifully laid out with small, thoughtful touches everywhere. Even though we only stayed the night we will definitely go back on our next trip. Thank you!
