Within the lush, rolling hills of Kwa-Zulu Natal lie the beautiful and luxurious chalets of Castleburn. The spiraling peaks of the Southern Drakensberg is a place of exquisite beauty and tranquillity. In the comfort of your room, enjoy cozy log fires and sweeping views over Lake Madingofani where eland, reedbuck and many exotic bird species make their homes. For the more active at heart, there is fly-fishing, hiking, horse riding and mini-golf.

Our Recreational Centre provides our patrons with arcade games, darts, table tennis and pool table, swimming pool, Putt-Putt, fly-fishing (strictly fly-fishing equipment only), horse riding.
Our restaurant and bar provide the perfect family dining experience with hot home cooked meals to hearty beef steaks. We also have a take away pizza facility for those evenings when you want to stay in.

The Lakeview restaurant offers down-to-earth country fare and is open daily for lunch and dinner, and for lunch only on Sundays. Our locally trained staff are on hand to prepare tasty meals with the freshest ingredients, with a full à la Carte menu. Relax with beautiful views and delicious country fare. Enjoy our delicious offering of wholesome meals, prepared in breathtaking surroundings. Lunch: Monday to Sunday Dinner: Monday to Saturday
