This self-catering unit is ideal for a family and friends or business persons to relax and enjoy South Africa's beautiful South Coast beaches and golf courses. Our facility is situated in a complex next to the Umtentweni Waterfront and is approximately 7km's before Port Shepstone. It is a short walk from the beach while Southport and Umtentweni main beaches are a short drive away.

The unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and it is beautifully furnished in an ethnic theme. The unit has a fully equipped modern kitchen including a washing machine and an open-plan lounge with a TV and DVD player. The patio has an eight-seater garden set to enjoy the sea view over the tree tops.

Very nice by

The accommodation was clean and as per the picture on the Internet. We had no problem, quiet relaxing complex. DStv reception was a problem and this can be an isssue with the kids at night.

Awsome stay by

This is an awesome venue for getting away from the busy life.My wife and kids loved it very clean with all the utilities available. Planning on going back soon again.

Four Day stay at Casuarina Sands by

Our Impressions are as follows:-
The space was very comfortable:-
The lounge furniture comfortable, the cushions could however be changed, looks old and used.
The bed was very comfortable, it would help to have a side table and mirror for the Ladies, there is space for it.
The main bedroom toilet does not work correctly, you have to lift the lid to the cistern and press the center to allow the water to  fill the cistern, it jams every time you press the flush button.
The stainless steel braai is badly corroded, you can see that has not been used for some time now.
The apartment should be opened up for fresh air to circulate, the place smelled very musty on arrival.
The security gate needs to be cleaned before anyone arrives, it just looked dirty.
There was no toilet paper in either of the toilets, you travel far and rush in to use the toilet.
Now you have to unpack to find a roll of paper, first time experience for us.
Last complaint before going onto the positive, the TV needs to be updated and the basic programes are just not good enough anymore.
Most people have upgraded to a DSTV Explorer, at the age of 56, I would like to watch some TV at night.We took our Explorer in vain as we could not connect it.
This is an awesome place, with a few small changes, this would be the place for us.

Peaceful beautiful place by

The place had all the equipment that we needed and was neat and clean. Peaceful and beautiful place. Would definitely recommend this fantastic warm flat to all looking to get away . Bathrooms are clean and fantastic 5 star rating all the way
