The cottage is set among orchards and vineyards and is situated in a spectacular part of the valley. The cottage is 3 km from the village and boasts magnificent mountain views. This is a truly lovely cottage in a beautiful, secluded location and yet only minutes from the mondane centre of franschhoek. We felt we were in good hands from booking to the end of our stay. Host, malcolm, really goes that extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable, secure and memorable stay. The cottage is well maintained and equipped and immaculately clean. The garden and pool area equally so. There are loads of activities in the immediate area and you can be as busy or quiet as you wish. there are restaurants close by. Loads of books and info in the cottage for a quiet hour (or three) on the stoep. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are looking forward to future visits. This is a great place for a quiet holiday for a small family or two couples (both bedrooms and baths are equally large, bright and comfortable).
