When you stay with us you will experience a wonderful holiday get-away for the whole family, including your pets; and our little cabin has a fence around the garden and braai/barbeque area, offering 'peace of mind' to moms and dads with little ones, as well as their 'fur-children' who want to wander off on their own to explore. WHAT WE OFFER : THERE ARE 2 SEPARATE HOLIDAY RENTALS ON THE PROPERTY :1. CABIN - Sleeps 2 adults, 2 children. Is a self-contained unit.2. TREE LOFT - Sleeps 2. Available as a 2nd bedroom. Does not offer cooking facilities. THE CABIN - accommodates 2 in a double bed in the bedroom, and 2 children on sofa beds in the lounge. (ONLY for children ages 0-12 years)The price of the Cabin is as advertised, and covers a minimum of 2 people per night. Children sleeping on the sofa couches stay free. THE TREE-LOFT - accommodates 2 in 2 single standard beds. The price of the Tree loft is as advertised, and covers a minimum of 2 people per night. The Cabin and the Tree-Loft are only a few meters apart, making it a perfect arrangement for large families, or families travelling together. CHARMING BUSHVELD STYLE & COMFORTWith the emphasis on 'authentic African bush', our adorable little Cabin and Tree loft have been appropriately furnished and decorated to enhance the peace and tranquility of its natural surroundings; providing you with a comfortable and relaxing space to come and unwind in, and enjoy your stay. THE CABIN is completely private, self-contained and air conditioned. It contains 1 bedroom, a small lounge, Kitchen, and a bathroom with shower only. The kitchen comes equipped with fridge, freezer, electric stove and oven, crockery and cutlery.THE TREE LOFT - Only available as a Second bedroom to the Cabin as it does not contain its own cooking facilities. It has 1 air-conditioned bedroom and opens out onto a spacious double-storey deck overlooking the water-hole. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and separate toilette. A compact kitchenette offers a tea/coffee station, relevant crockery and cutlery, and a small fridge. Ample storage space is provided for 2 people, and the outdoor decks offer spectacular bushveld views which complete this magical tree-loft experience. Both the Cabin and the Tree-loft are provided with bed linen, towels, extra blankets, toilet paper, soap, candles, paraffin lamps, purified bottled water and electricity. IMMERSE YOURSELF IN NATUREDirectly outside the cabin is a cosy thatched entertainment area with fire pit and braai (barbeque), an outdoor gas cooking area, seating and dining area, and your own private 'bushveld-splash pool'; all overlooking the waterhole to provide you with a a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sparkling cool water, as you experience the exhilaration of being surrounded by wildlife only a few meters away from you.At Ndlovumzi we pride ourselves on having the best of both worlds by being surrounded by wild unspoiled African bushveld, and not having the Big 5 which enables us to roam freely among the wild fauna and flora in the reserve. Our reserve has many interesting wildlife species which include giraffe, zebra, a variety of antelope, wild dog, wild small-cats, monkeys, baboons, hippos and crocodiles; ......... and elephants have been known to walk the river.So come and join us ..??... Take a hike, a gentle stroll, or cycle past a herd of plains game like antelope, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and many more. Enjoy the amusing antics of the warthogs, as you enjoy a romantic picnic nestled in the bush. Or simply soak up the magic of the African bushveld, as you spend a lazy day watching the Hippo play, in the splashes and pools of the river ............ Whether you enjoy your morning coffee mixed with golden rays of Sunrise, or your Sun-downers mixed with calls of the wild and crimson Sunsets, ?........ You will find that our little African Bush-Cabin Retreat makes your heart feel at home. FOR YOU COMFORT & CONVENIENCEOur housekeeping staff are available daily, to ensure that your cabin is kept clean and comfortable throughout your stay; and that your fire pit is kept clean, prepared, and lit for you; as and when you wish.Open-air parking is free during your stay with us, and is conveniently situated directly outside the cabinFor your convenience, we do also offer very basic supplies for sale, such as wood, ice, bread, milk, coffee, tea, sugar and cool drinksADDITIONAL INFORMATION :1. Guests will be expected to abide by the rules of the Ndlovumzi nature reserve, which are in accordance with a registered fauna and flora nature conservancy. A copy is available in the Cabin. 2. No Smoking inside the cabin and loft.3. Pets must be kept on leashes at all times when out of the fenced enclosed area. 4. Please note that owners are welcome to bring their pets onto the property at their own risk, but are fully responsible for the well-being and behaviour of their animals, at all times. Any loss or damage suffered by / caused by their animals, must be repaired or rectified by the owner of the animal
