The romantic dream of staying in a log cabin can be fulfilled when staying at Cosy Cabins. Two one-bedroom log cabins are nestled on the hillside in a pretty garden with sea views.The cabins provide ideal holiday accommodation for small families, but are also frequently utilized for their convenience by people working on contract in the Port Shepstone area.Both units are fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, TV with OVHD decoder, but should you want the full DStv you are welcome to bring your own decoder. The garden is fully fenced and gated and an alarm system is installed in each unit. All bed linen is provided, but we request that you bring your own towels, toiletries and provisions.This is a very peaceful area for nature lovers with wonderful bird life and monkeys who frequently come into the garden to steal from our fruit trees. Pets are welcome by request at an extra charge per animal.

The pictures I was sent seem to be the second unit so my children had no bed to sleep on. Only a sleeper couch. Unit one is extremely small and we were disappointed that it wasn't made clear. We won't be returning. There is also very little kitchen space and cutlery.

Establishment's response:

Stewart , you initially made an enquiry for CC2 which is why you were aware of the set-up of that Cabin. It would have been ideal for you. You then requested a quote for the cheaper CC1 which is advertised as having a double bed in the bedroom and a sleeper couch in the lounge ? suitable for a couple with a maximum of 2 small children or 1 teenager. You arrived as a couple plus 3 children which is why there was a shortage of cutlery. We do not provide for 5 guests in CC1 ? it is too small. We always check our Cabins before and after occupancy and did not refund your deposit because there was 1 glass and 1 plate missing which was replaced by 2 non-matching plates. We have had to replace the dinner service as we will not leave mismatched crockery in our Cabins. Also there was a 43cm rip in one of the net curtains and as it is a small Cabin we have had to replace all the net curtains in both rooms to match. Your stay cost us more than you paid us. As the worst guest we have ever experienced, you will not be welcome back.
