This guest place is ideal for couples or business travelers looking for a budget escape. It is nested in the little authentic suburb of Cyrildene which is a completely fenced-off area, known for its solid, 1950s homes and for its central but still very quiet residential position. There are several popular shopping centres around including Eastgate (10min walk), Park meadows, Bedford, Bruma flea market. It is 15 min drive from O.R.Tambo international airport, 5min drive to city center, 5 min drive to Ellis park stadium.
There are 3 independent comfort guest rooms and a guest cottage namely The Room with View, The Scent of Africa , The Golden Oldie and The Cottage. All the units are equipped with flatscreen TVs and Wi-Fi. Each of them has an en-suite bathroom (shower), a well-equipped kitchenette for self-catering and queen size bed. Linen and towels provided.The rooms all have their own private entrances.
A weekly cleaning service includes full laundry service as well.
One parking bay is provided for each unit.
Guests can make use of the build-in braai ( BBQ) and the sparkling swimming pool.
The place is hosted by friendly European couple and a pick up from the airport can be arranged.

Romy is very friendly and helpful..
room has everything u need for self catering stay..mini oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, glasses...nice big shower, pool, parking..free wifi..tv with local channels only..bed is comfortable..
unfortunately the windows don't open easily, so, get very hot when cooking.. 





We found the atmosphere of the place very quiet and friendly, with Romy and Ivan as nice and caring hosts. The Guest Rooms are conveniently located and are a well accessible place to stay for daily explorations of Gauteng and surrounding areas. We only missed international channels on DStv especially because in the evenings we were unable to watch the ongoing competitions at the recent Olympic Games. :-) However, we would be glad to be back and see our hosts sometime in the future again!
