The unit comprises a bathroom (shower in bath), a fully equipped kitchen with a convection microwave oven, kettle, toaster and 2 plate hotplate. Other features include full satellite television, free wifi, separate entrance and a little garden in front of the apartment.

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Cape Town. After reading the favourable reviews online, we decided that Down The Lane was the place for us. The good reviews are all correct. I have to comment on the steps in the passage, but otherwise, a wonderful stay. Renier was a discreet, yet available and caring host, especially when I dropped the car keys into the letterbox instead of the apartment keys at our departure, and he had to return to the apartment to rescue us.

This is by far the best self cater unit I have used in Cape Town. Well located, clean, spacious, all TV channels, good rooms.

Lovely, this is just lovely and I certainly will be back here. Hopefully for much longer than just 4 nights. It is perfectly positioned, lovely bedlinen, friendly and helpful hosts, all the space and well stocked with whatever one needs away from home.
