Due South Guest House is located in a coastal town named Langebaan in the Western Cape province of South Africa.This guest house has four modern-styled self-catering flats, each flat is equipped with a TV, a kitchenette with a microwave, a bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities. There are two yachts as well as a rubber duck that compliment our tours division and are available for charters and boat rides for all guests - subject to availability.The flats are situated on the edge of the West Coast National Park and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the lagoon beaches and kite-surfing areas of Langebaan Lagoon.

Good value for money, but by

This review is written against the background of the price of the accommodation. If the cost was higher, I would have given a lower rating.
The accommodation is clean and comfortable. It's good for a short stay, not longer. It's within easy walking distance of the beach and restaurants.
Being right on the main road through Langebaan, the traffic noise is quite severe (especially Flat 1). It's punted as self-catering, but it's poorly equipped for that. Also, you are forced to continuously sit "in bed" as there is no chair. 2 easy chairs plus coffee table is a must - there is space for it. There are chairs on the small patio, but when the weather is not great, you need a chair indoors.
Other than the above, staff were friendly and the room was relatively spacious. But remember, it is just one room.

Relaxing holiday in Langebaan by

Nice base for 2 people to stay and explore Langebaan and surrounding towns. Neat and clean, although they provide a micro kitchen area, there's no place to wash up and there was no room service during the 3 days we were there.

This place was just amazing. Its walking distance of the beach and the restaurants and the owner checks in which was very nice. Its perfect to lock up and go and explore Langebaan and I would definitelt go back again.
