Duwisib Guest Farm is situated directly next to Duwisib Castle on the edge of the Namib desert. We are the perfect stopover en route to Sossusvlei, Lüderitz or the Fish-River Canyon. The Duwisib Castle is a historical monument situated in the heart of our 6,000-hectare farmland and is only a short stroll from our accommodation and campsite. With scenic views and camelthorn trees, it is no wonder the Baron decided to build his fortress at this special location.Duwisib offers seven double en-suite rooms, self-catering accommodation and camping. Our cosy and clean rooms will ensure a relaxing stay with views of the castle and surrounding mountains. The swimming pool is a great way to cool off during the warm summer months. The bungalow was spacious and very clean. Not luxury accommodation, but tasteful and functional. Had a great braai under clear skies. Enjoyed it very much. We really appreciated this very much. The rooms were clean and convenient. It was disappointing that our self catering option which we booked, were sold to other guests earlier the day. We were thankful for the owner who offered the main kitchen facilities to us, but it was however a bit uncomfortable. The heat during the night was almost unbearable and no air conditioners of fans were available. Personally, in comparison to all the other places where we stayed, we think the venue is slightly overpriced.
