Elandsnes is a self-catering house located in Elands Bay. It is situated close to the beach and the river mouth, with the Bobbejaan Mountains resting behind and is the ideal place for an informal holiday.

There are two units situated on this property, the first being the Elandsnes main house. It comprises three bedrooms; a main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and balcony, an upstairs dorm room with a balcony and a bedroom downstairs. There is a shared bathroom downstairs as well as an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains an in-door braai.

The second unit is the Cederberg apartment which is attached to the eastern side of the main house. It consists of a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and living area. There are two single beds in the living area. There is also a covered braai area on the veranda.

Elands Bay is a small town located 220 km North of Cape Town and is situated on the Atlantic Ocean and is a major surfing location. It is also noted for its caves with examples of Khoi San rock paintings.

The rates shown for Elandsnes house and Cederberg apartments are for six and four guests respectively.

Great laid back place!






I will definitely go back to Elandsnes, it's a lovely accommodation. Thanks to Faeez, the owner, who moved us into the big house we loved the space, the small house would've been too cramped. I would recommend the big house to anyone wanting to spend some time in Elands bay. 

Stay at Elandsnes by

We really liked the apartment that we stayed in. It was sufficiently furnished and had everything we needed.

The only downside was the train tracks that ran about 200m from the establishment. The trains were running about every 2-3 hours, throughout the night. So we did not have a very peaceful night.

Fantastic down to earth spot by

Great down to earth place to stay. Loads of beds, lovely cool open space inside and a great big couch outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Unpleasent by

Don't think Safarinow should be marketing this establishment. The house had no towels, not even a kettle to boil water. The outside braai and area surrounds littered with broken building blocks and braai filled with sand piled up so unusable. The house being built next door, banging and building work commenced at 7am on Sunday. Was not a pleasent experience.This property should be marketed as rustic in the R 500 / Night range
