Tuskers Bush Lodge is situated right next to the Elephant Sanctuary Hartbeespoort South Africa. Guest have the opportunity to stay in our Luxury Rooms a short distance from the elephant stables. Situated in the amazing Bushveld atmosphere, are six luxury rooms with a communal patio and deck area, overlooking the tranquilizing swimming pool and bush.

Tuskers Bush Lodge is exclusive and intimate, and can accommodate 12 guest sharing. We welcome families and children of all ages. Come stay and enjoy the peace and calm that the bushveld has to offer. All rooms are tastefully decorated, with on-suite bathrooms and air-conditioned. Rates are inclusive of bed and breakfast. In the surrounding area there are a variety of restaurants ready for your picking.

Rates excludes all Elephant activities. The Elephant Interaction Program and Elephant back Riding, as well as the Monkey tours at the Monkey Sanctuary situated next to The Elephant Sanctuary. The Elephant Sanctuary offers experiences/tours/programs daily, so don't forget to book your tour. Each sanctuary has different time slots and these vary slightly. Details of what each sanctuary specifically offers, plus the rates can be found on their websites.

Disappointing by

Very expensive for what it is.

We were not allowed to walk around the property, and in order to see the elephants are asked to pay more. Given the cost of accommodations, we should be allowed to walk around and see the elephants.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they want to waste their money.





Stunning room, beautiful location and excellent service.

Some confusion regarding the check in time as they differ on safari now and on the website.

Loved the tranquility of Tuskers Lodge, as we were the only people there for the first night of of 2 day break away , thoroughly enjoyed the Elephant Sanctuary and the Monkey Sanctuary. All the staff involved were so friendly and courteous.
