An old house in town, off the N10 and N12, halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town, from the 1950's have been renovated into three stylishly furnished en-suite bedrooms, each offering its own private entrance, antique furniture and en-suite bathrooms with a shower, or bath or both. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, bar fridge, microwave, DStv with KykNet, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Crisp cotton linen and fluffy towels are supplied, as well as electric blankets in winter.

Farm-style meals are available on request and we serve breakfast on request in our breakfast room. Braai facilities are available and braai packs and salads can be arranged.

Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. Secure off-street parking is provided near your room. There are two garages available on request.

We invite you to take a walk through our peaceful town and enjoy our breathtaking sunsets. During the December holiday you can also enjoy thousands of sparrows and lesser kestrels on their immigration route from Russia and the Ukraine.

Dit was heerlik om by Elsa tuis te kon gaan. Kamer is pragtig, netjies en skoon en Elsa is 'n baie goeie gasvrou. Heerlike aandete en ontbyt.. Beveel haar met graagte aan.

Ons verblyf by Elsa was baie aangenaam. Sy is vriendelik, hartlik en opreg gasvry.  Die kamer was ruim, skoon en in alle opsigte uitstekend Die kos het gespreek van plattelandse gasvryheid en was voorwaar heerlik. Alle sukses met hierdie onderneming.

What a friendly host in Elsa. Also Minah who cooked us delicious braised Karoo lamb chops with mixed vegetables and a very fresh salad. we can highly recommend Elsa's @ 27. A very spacious, clean and neat room

The owner, Elsa, was very warm and friendly. The room was very spacious and they even supplied mosquito repellent, which was a nice touch.

Short Stop over inn Britstown by

The room is spacious as well as the bathroom and comfortable, it is reasonably priced, semi catering, some plates and knife and fock needed. The host was very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet and secure with seating outside. It is good that there air conditioning and heating I would stay there again. Rudiger Lutz Vryheid

Parking was a concern althought it turned out well. Poor choice of TV options...

Comfortable and cosy by

Elsa was very welcoming and the room was lovely! The electric blanket was a plus on the cold winter night as was the lovely sunny patio when we arrived.

Personal attention and the spacious rooms by

Spacious bathrooms with enough space for y our toiletries vanity case and clothes. Beautiful spacious bedrooms and a lovely breakfast.

Overnight stay JHB to CT by

Such a nice place. Elsa was so friendly and accommodating. Fantastic pet friendly stay over, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Will definately book again on my travels between JHB and Cape Town.
