Fernwood Manor

Fernwood Manor is an elegant colonial-style home in the leafy suburb of Newlands. We cater for no more than 16 guests to ensure warm, friendly and personal service in gracious and elegant surroundings.

We offer exquisite air-conditioned rooms with either king-size or twin beds on request; most rooms have balconies or garden patios. These superior luxury rooms have lovely en-suite bathrooms.

On lovely summer mornings, we serve breakfast on the covered patio adjoining the breakfast room. Our guest lounge has a cosy fireplace and leads to an outdoor covered patio overlooking the large swimming pool. Guests can visit our formal lounge and bar on the opposite side of the manor house for a more intimate occasion.

Our study and library has a work station for the guests filled with many good books and magazines. We also offer a boardroom for meetings, small conference facilities and private dining.

We are located practically on the doorstep of the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and mountain walks. We are minutes from the University of Cape Town, Newlands Stadium, Cavendish Square, the Constantia Wine Valley and many fine restaurants in our area. We offer easy access to all tourist attractions, five of the top golf courses and our beaches.
