'Filaos sur Mer' in French means ?Casuarinas by the Sea'. This typical Mauritian beach bungalow is full of charm and is situated right on the beach of Cap Malheaureux. Cap Malheureux is on the north of the island just ten minutes' drive from Grand Bay.

Gunners Point Island can be seen from the large terrace offering panoramic sea views, as well as from inside the living and the dining room. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully decorated in a contemporary style and the fully fitted kitchen is ideal for self-catering purposes.

The garden of Filaos sur Mer is bordered with tall Casuarina trees, with the lagoon in the background. The scenery is picturesque and incorporates fishermen's boats in the bay and the long white sandy beach offering a breathtaking view on the northern islands.
