Fynbosstrand is a hidden gem with beautiful beaches and stunning sunsets. The fisherman's cottage has a relaxed holiday feel to it. It has an open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge area. While enjoying a shower in the main bedroom's en-suite bathroom, you have a view of the ocean.

Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, the other two have double beds and the attic has 3 single beds with a birds-eye view of the beach. The two outside bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. The shared bathroom in the main house has a sunken bath and shower.

Linen, extra blankets & bath towels are provided. Toiletries are available on arrival only. Please bring your own swimming towels. Extra linen is available. The basic items such as spices, oil, tea & coffee, milk are available on arrival. All essential kitchen items are provided. You just need to bring your charm, food, clothing and have a wonderful time.

Visitors to Fynbosstrand are NOT able to fish unless accompanied by a shareholder owner, and guests who break the rules will be fined R10 000. The coastline within Fynbosstrand is protected and we are not allowed to collect alikreukels, perlemoen and octopus. It is a 25km drive to Stilbaai, 20 kms to Gouritz Mond and 35kms to Mossel Bay. There is no cafe/shop at Fynbosstrand. No dogs/cats are allowed.

Whale & dolphin viewing, hiking on the beach & on the property while viewing black wildebeest. Cycling in the area, along the beach from Gouritz Mond. Bird watching - many oyster catchers. Early risers will see clawless otters on the beaches. B Excellent safe snorkeling areas for children to also enjoy.

Walks among the fynbos and indigenous flowers. Sea kayaking with double kayak provided. A game of table tennis in the court yard keeps you on your toes. Or go on a historical mission and see how many shell middens you can find along the beach left by the Strandlopers many, many years ago.
