Situated on the banks of the Great Fish River, this comfortable lodge is well situated for visits to Cradock, Bedford, Adelaide and Somerset East.

Accommodation is set in beautiful lush gardens, while the rushing Great Fish River creating an active environment with its resident wildlife.

Rooms are comfortable, en-suite and well equipped for any length of stay. A delicious breakfast is served each morning and best eaten outside in front of the river.

We were very disappointed with conditions at this lodge. The service rendered was extremely unprofessional. The man who received us complained that he did not know about our booking. The sliding door windows of the room were very dirty. Furniture on the veranda is in a bad shape. The condition of the swimming pool was horrible.

Should not be called a lodge by

Very difficult to find as there is no name or street number visible. Directions are somewhat vague.
Unit is to quote the owner "very primitive" and there is NO privacy for anyone using the bathroom facilities.
We had asked for a self catering unit and other than a kettle and a shared fridge on the verandah there were no self catering facilities.



After we looked at the room, we decide not to stay. We will never do any booking in future through safarinow .
