A boutique style approach to detail for families, fishermen and friends, is what we offer here at ?The Breede?. It is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience for the whole family.
This double storey thatched roof is one of its kind, large living areas to choose from, inside or outside on the water's edge with your own private jetty and picnic area. Fully equipped for the concerned visitor.
The Breede River Estuary is the Cape's premier fishing estuary and one of the best in South Africa. The river naturally attracts fish-eating birds like the majestic fish eagle, osprey, fishing owl and kingfisher. The whole area is home to an amazing wealth of birdlife.
It is also an important breeding ground for rare birds and home to the Blue Crane, South Africa's national bird. Walks along the river bank and through the fynbos are the walking areas of choice. The ocean is only two kilometers away. Boats may also be hired to watch the estuarine birds on the various mud flats and sand banks.
