Gastehys JanHarmsgat offers a unique experience in this well-known artist's latest venture.

Decorated in the true JanHarmsgat style the house has already drawn much attention in the media and has been featured in the February/March 2007 issue of Elle Decoration. Many a guest can attest to the artist's vibrant perspective.

Just a few comments from some of our recent guests:

?We had a wonderful stay at your guest house on Saturday evening. We LOVED every detail of the room - especially the bathroom! You must be thrilled with the end result - you have totally transformed the guesthouse into a brilliantly creative and wonderfully welcoming space. Of course it is completely wacky - but fabulously so! Love the bedside lights!

We really wish you loads of success with all your ventures and wonderful ideas. You have amazing vision - you see potential in things that most people would never see and you have the talent and energy to transform things into something that really uplifts the soul - always with a sense of humour. Three bedrooms:

All three rooms offer complimentary sherry to be enjoyed in the funkiest sherry glasses in town.

Kettle, tea, coffee and rusks provided in each room.

The rooms each lead to a private terrace from which you can enjoy a sunset or sunrise in the quaint village of Cullinan.

Communal Kitchen offers - Fridge, Freezer, Micowave, Stove, crockery,  cutlery and Braai Facilities. 

Dinner (excluded from the package) can be enjoyed at one of the eating establishments in village. Recommended:

JanHarm is known for his creativity, some would call it odd. Every shop, Theatre, Spa and Guesthouse resembeles this. A secret, yet undisclosed, is the unbelievable and awesome view from JanHarmsgat se Spa over the Cullinan wetlands. The view is unobstructed and many a visitor to JanHarmsgat se Spa, dream of staying there forever. Across from the Spa, a three bedroom guesthouse has been redecorated in typical JanHarmsgat style. Guests can use the Roman bath at the Spa after 5pm.

Wat 'n pragtige en interessante gastehuis! Ons het ons verblyf verskriklik geniet. Die kamer is baie mooi en gerieflik, en ons sal defnitief enigiemand kan aanbeveel hierheen. Pragtige dorpie met heerlike restaurante! Sien gou weer.

Peace and tranquillity by

My husband and I had a night away here. It is beautiful! Peaceful. We loved every minute. The art and guesthouse is unique. Very special for time away. Definitely recommend :-)

Surrounded by Beauty by

We only stayed for one night in the GREND Room and the decadent room with it's unique Bohemian feel made us buy take-away foods instead of dining out. The room is so beautiful that it would be a waste to only sleep in it. The door that opens onto the garden was lovely in the early morning to have a cup of tea with saucer. Very Special . Very safe area and safe parking. Spa next door and we spend the next day ( Saturday ) in town. A real must for city sleekers who want to break away. Little shops and wonderful restaurants and JanHarmsAgterplaas with theatre and Antique shops were wonderful to stroll through and breath in fresh air from the country.
