The Cottage offers breathtaking views over the Maluti and Rooiberge Mountains and consists of 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms accommodating 6 guests.

The open plan dining/living area has a TV with DSTV and free Uncapped WIFI. The living area has a top quality Sleeper Couch which sleeps 2 comfortably. There is a guest toilet on the ground level. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove with oven, and a microwave.

Quirky wooden stairs lead upstairs to the 2 bedrooms and 2 adjacent bathrooms. The bedrooms offer queen size beds and have stunning mountain and garden views from the comfort of your bed. Both have doors onto a shared balcony. Both bathrooms have shower over bath combinations due to heritage nature of home. Heaters, fans, electric blankets, throws, extra blankets, towels, and a hairdryer are provided.

The patio has a large table and is ideal to enjoy outdoor meals or play board games. There is a braai and firepit and a large garden where children are welcome to play.

Parking for 2 vehicles and a trailer are behind locked gates.

Gentle Presence has only had 3 owners including the current owners and has been declared a heritage site and has a charming history which we would love to share with you.

The Golden Gate Highlands National Park is 25km's away Caledonspoort Border Post to Lesotho can be reached within 30 minute drive. Clarens Golf Estate is less than 3km's away.

The hosts Pat and Colin were super friendly, the environment and view was awsome for a quiet and peaceful break away.

We enjoyed the view and lovely varanda. There were also lovely small touches in the house. Colin and Pat were very helpful with informtion needed.
